Right now, I'm around 11 weeks pregnant. I don't feel a whole lot different other than the fact that I do seem to be "showing." I'm not sure what exactly I'm showing since the baby hasn't moved up yet. I suppose it is just the placenta and everything else getting ready for the baby.
According to my little pregnancy ticker, the baby is the size of a lime right now. In other terms, that is 2 inches. It's hard not being able to feel the baby or hear the baby's heartbeat. Sometimes I just want some way to just make sure everything is okay. I suppose my nausea, fatigue, and other pregnancy-related symptoms are enough for now.
On January 12th, I have a scheduled ultrasound where I will hopefully be able to see our little one. The last time I went, they wouldn't let me see the screen. I had to sneak a peek when the nurse walked out to find out the information that I did. They have some weird policies there. However, my doctor told me they should have let me see the screen last time, and to let her know if they don't this time. I have to go have an ultrasound in radiology with a radiology technician instead of my doctor. I'm hoping it will be better this time around since it is just a routine scheduled ultrasound. The last time I had an ultrasound it was a last-minute thing that the doctor asked for to make sure everything was going well. I'm thinking since this is different, it should be more like a routine one where I actually get to see the little one. I also hope to go home with a picture.
If I get one, I'm posting it. Anyway, 2 weeks until the 2nd trimester. I can't WAIT to be out of the first trimester!
